I discovered I was very ill just after my 1st year anniversary (February 2020). I had excessive skin itching & irritation, night sweats and a temperature at times. It wasn’t until I had a lump in my throat that I went to be seen by a doctor.
After a series of tests, they confirmed that all of the symptoms I was experiencing pointed to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma a type of blood cancer. I had tumours in my neck, my chest (14cm long) and in my armpits.

I then had to undergo chemotherapy for 6 months meanwhile the church prayed for me and my wife. We were supported tremendously by the church at large. and within a short time, the tumour in my chest had shrunk.
Through it all it was tough and it wasn’t easy but the peace of God kept me and sustained me. By God’s grace I was able to finish my studying while undergoing chemotherapy & I became a registered pharmacist in December 2022. God is good & He is a healer.
